On August 13 of 1961 they started building the Berlin wall, this wall separates East from West, this lasted almost 25 years until they opened it in 1989, the people who tried to cross from East to West were shot and killed. In 1990 Germany was reunified again

Josef Stalin

He was born in 1879 in Gori, in 1910 he changed his name no Josef Stalin, in 1899 he began his career in the social democratic party, he was a very rebel person in the 1900s, during 1913 to 1917 he mostly participated in the communist party Iater Lenin's death he joined Grigory Zinovyev and Kamenev to lead the country. When he was 50 years old he became leader of the USSR. He defeated Germany with Roosevelt and Churchill as his allies, he died in 1953.

Salvador Allende was born on July 26, He studied for doctor, helped to found the Chilean Socialist party, in 1937 he was elected for the Chamber of Deputies, he was also senator; after that in 1970 he was elected president becoming the first Marxist president in a free democratic election. He helped a lot the working class in Chile. He died fighting in the presidential palace in 1973

Nikita Khrushchev

Born on April 17th, 1894.
He was the son of a miner, his first job at the age of fifteen years as a pipe fitter exempted him from serving at the WWI, by 1918 he joined the Russian Communist party and served as a political worker.
Stalin demote him in 1947 but called him back to Moscow two years later to lead the Moscow City party, by 1955 he controlled the Soviet Union. He was part of the Cold War.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy

He was born on May 29, 1917, the youngest president of the United States.
He graduated from Harvard in 1940 and entered the Navy in 1943, when his boat was destroyed by a Japanese destroyer, Kennedy had bad injuries. In 1956 he gained the Democratic nomination for Vice President, four years later was elected for president. He was very focused on having equal rights so he made a proposition to change the civil rights. He tried to overthrow the regime of Fidel Castro but he failed, he was murdered in 1963.

Jacob Arbenz Guzman

Born in September 14 of 1913, Colonel Arbenz was President of Guatemala from 1951 to 1954, after that he was a teacher for some time, until they stroke against the government asking for a rise but most of them were killed.
Ponce became a new dictator and wanted a place in the presidency, he arrested his opponent; mean while Arbenz and Arana made a rebellion.
They won and exile Ponce they made discrimination a crime and they allowed people to study the higher education. He died in Mexico the 27th of January of 1971.

He gained fame in Korea fighting against Japan during the 1930s.

It started on June 25 of 1950 and ended July 27 195.
A conflict between North and South Korea that started with the attempts of the Korean powers to re-unify Korea under their respective governments. United States tried to stop the war and got involved sending military forces, after that China and the Soviet Union also got involved.

Mao Tse Tung

He was born the 26th of December, 1893 in Shao-shan.
He served in the republican army, as an assistant in Peking University he contacted people that later would be high in the Chinese Communist Party; He was a founding member of the Chinese Communist Party.
In 1934 he gained power on the CCP, during the WWI the Japanese invasion forced the CCP to form a united front; he was now a leader of the CCP that made raised the membership from 40,000 members in 1937 to 1, 200,000 members in 1945.
China developed an alliance with the USSR. During the Cultural Revolution Mao became very popular after that he died in Peking on September 9, 1976.
